Bandai Tamashii Nations revives the origins of Saint Seiya with a special release that brings back, after nearly four decades, the legendary Saint Cloth Series — the historic action figure line that captivated an entire generation of fans in the late 1980s and served as the direct ancestor of the later Saint Cloth Myth collection.
At the heart of this long-awaited comeback is Pegasus Seiya in his First Bronze Cloth, faithfully reinterpreted to preserve the look and proportions of the original toy while taking full advantage of modern production techniques. Bandai scanned and analyzed the original Cloth, body, and Object Frame, and gave Seiya's face a subtle update that keeps the unmistakable vintage feel with a more refined finish.
Just like the classic version, the Pegasus Cloth can be worn by the articulated figure or removed and reassembled onto the dedicated Object Frame, allowing collectors to display the armor in its iconic alternate configuration. Selected sections of the Cloth are crafted in die-cast metal, an essential detail that recaptures the authentic feel of the original line, while the rest of the figure is made in high-quality PVC and ABS.
This special Cloth Box Limited Edition also includes, as a first-run exclusive bonus, the return of the legendary Saint Cloth Chest, recreated from the original vintage materials and supplied as an assembly kit designed to echo the presentation of the 1980s release.
